Georgia is another state that chose to commemorate the Confederacy on its flag. John Sammons Bell, chairman of the Democratic party during the time, designed the Georgia state flag. On the vertical strip close to the flagpole, the Georgia state seal appears in black and white. It shows three pillars that stand for the three branches of government, wrapped in ribbons that express the ideas of the Constitution - wisdom, justice, and moderation. The pillars support an arch that bears the word, "Constitution." The remaining two-thirds of the Georgia state flag prominently presents a replica of the Confederate Battle Flag.
These are polycotton Georgia Flags. All flags are finished with heading and grommets for displaying. Made in China.
