Royal Standard of Spain, 3' x 5' Nylon Flag

The Royal Standard of Spain is the official flag of the King of Spain. Also known as the Lions and Castles flag, it is still raised over the official royal residence in Madrid, the Palacio de la Zarzuela, and other Spanish royal sites when the monarch is in residence. The flag is a symbol of Spanish cultural heritage and a revered symbol of the Spanish state. 

Christopher Columbus planted the Royal Standard of Spain on San Salvador in the Bahamas on October 12, 1492.
