I was just given a\u00a0forty\u00a0eight star (48) American flag<\/a>\u00a0by my wife. \u00a0I think it is beautiful.<\/p>\n

The flag which belonged to her grandfather, Paul Woody, was given to her by her father, Ned Woody. \u00a0Her grandfather did not fly the flag on a flagpole. Instead he flew the flag in the window to show patriotism during World War II. \u00a0This agrees with the fact that there is no wear at the fly end.<\/p>\n

The flag is made using wool as many old flags were. The stripes are sewn and the stars are appliqued (sewn)<\/p>\n

As you can see many holes\u00a0perforate\u00a0this flag (I guess they didn’t use\u00a0inhibitors\u00a0back then).<\/span><\/p>\n

PS \u00a0We can make any American flag<\/a> with any size star field<\/a> in nylon or cotton. \u00a0Sorry no wool.<\/p>\n
