\nChanged from greed to giving,
\nChanged from selfishness to selflessness,
\nChanged from apathy to action,
\nChanged from jealousy to joy over someone’s accomplishments,
\nChanged from intolerance to acceptance,
\nChanged from being destructive to being constructive,
\nChanged from fighting to peace,
\nChanged from killing to protecting life,
\nChanged from censorship to freedom,
\nChanged from ignorance to education,
\nChanged from fearing our differences to rejoicing our variety.<\/p>\n
\nhouse the homeless, educate the illiterate, love the unloved,
\ncompete to do the right thing instead of winning at any cost,
\nmake heros that teach our children to
\nmake the world a better place instead of glorifying violence and war,
\nstand up and speak out against things that are wrong
\ninstead of sitting back and waiting for someone else,
\ndemand honesty from our governments,
\ndemand honesty from ourselves.<\/p>\n
\nand realize that by refusing to change ourselves,
\nwe condone all the evils in the world.
\nIf one person changes they teach others by example,
\nwho in turn change and teach more,
\none person becomes as a pebble rolling down a mountain,
\npicking up more pebbles as it continues,
\nbecoming an avalanche of change.
\nIt can happen, it must happen, it will happen.<\/p>\n
